GEOlymp - Geography Olympiad

Verein SwissGeOlymp

Am 25.3.2014 wurde in Zürich der Verein SwissGeOlymp gegründet. Zweck der Gründung dieses Vereins ist gemäss der Statuten „die Teilnahme der Schweiz an der Internationalen Geografie-Olympiade (iGeo) und ähnlichen Wettbewerben zu ermöglichen.“ Damit eine reglementskonforme Teilnahme an der iGeo möglich ist, muss eine nationale Ausscheidung vorgenommen werden, für deren zielgerichtete Organisation und Durchführung der Verein SwissGeOlymp eintritt. Der Verein ist auch bestrebt, die dafür notwendigen Mittel zu generieren.

Die Vorstandsmitglieder Flurina Jenal (Solothurn), Fabian Herger (Biel), Joelle Thoma (Basel) sowie der Präsident Michael Jänichen (Bern) hoffen auf Ihre freundliche Unterstützung.

Schweizer Wissenschafts-Olympiaden

Der Verein SwissGeOlmyp ist, zusammen mit sechs weiteren Vereinen, Mitglied des Dachverbandes Schweizer Wissenschafts-Olympiaden VSWO. Nebst Geografie sind folgende Disziplinen vertreten:
