The second Swiss GeOlympiad is over.
On 26 november the finals took place at the Pädagogische Hochschule in St. Gallen. A team around Rolf Bürki conducted the three tests: Written Response, Multimedia and Field Work. The tests can be found here.
The marking was finished at 5 pm – so the participants received their results the same day. .

The others were awarded with either one of the six silver medal or a bronze medal.
All participants recieved prizes from our supporters.
NZZ und die NZZ am Sonntag donated six months subscriptions for the Digital-Abo der NZZ und NZZ am Sonntag for all finalists.
Le monde diplomatique donated the new „Edition Le monde diplomatique. Warmzeit“ and a one year subscription for all finalists.
Verlag Westermann donated a Diercke-Weltatlas für alle Finalistinnen und Finalisten. The Swiss Delegation for Belgrade received a sunrise gift in addition.
The student with the best results, Julius Vering, received a weighty and substantial book on geography from the Buchhandlung am Zytglogge in Bern.
